New Link

I've added a new link to the left -- Anabelle's Shutterfly Albums. I generally use Snapfish to order prints because they have the best prices, but their picture-sharing capacities leave much to be desired. Even after sending people links to specific folders, they were unable to view them. Shutterfly, on the other hand, makes sharing pictures easy, so if I have a big batch of pictures to share, I'll upload them there from now on. And their new Collections feature sounds really fun: It allows you to create a unique URL where you can upload related pictures and albums for everyone to view. And others can add comments or even upload their own Anabelle-related pictures to the collection. So try it out and let me know what you think of it!

Weekend at the Bergs: Grandma Jakala's Birthday

This weekend we went up to the Bergs' cabin to celebrate my mom's birthday. We had a great time -- wonderful weather and lots of delicious food! And Anabelle made a new friend, Trace, who's exactly 5 months older than she is. Here's a picture of Anabelle and Trace being held by their grandmothers. Crash!

Nothing to do with Anabelle, but I thought this was interesting: A car accident happened right in front of our house this morning (right on our lawn, actually) -- the second in as many weeks. Luckily no one was hurt, but I think it's time to write the city about putting in a stoplight or 4-way stop at our intersection.

The Exciting Exersaucer!

Becky and Aaron came over today and while they were here they helped put together Anabelle's latest toy: The Exersaucer! According to the box, it's intended for ages four months and up but Anabelle (who's still a couple days shy of 3 months) really enjoyed playing in it. So advanced! Anabelle's legs are really strong so she was able to spin her seat all the way around to check out all the toys at her command station. I think this will be a fun toy for Anabelle for months to come!

I guess yesterday Mandy and Michael watched Anabelle at our house while Buni ran some errands. Unbeknownst to us, they left us some surprise pictures on our digital camera. Thanks for the pics, Michael and Mandy! (I'd post more but the others turned out a little blurry. What can I say: I keep telling Binh I need a new digital camera for Anabelle!!)
