First Dance Recital

Anabelle had her first dance recital today and she did a fantastic job! You could tell that she was having a lot of fun, too, which is very important!


Here is Anabelle's group, posing for photos after they finished all of their numbers.


Back at home, Anabelle studies the tape of her performance to see how she can improve her routine. (By the way, Happy Actual Second Birthday, Jack!)


Even after a fifth viewing, Anabelle's performance still mesmerizes the audience!

Christmas with the Jakalas

Christmas came early this year on the Jakala side. Thanks for all the presents, Nonnie, Papa, Uncle Aaron, Aunt Becky, and Cousin Sophie!!!

You Did It!

The results of Anabelle's first week of potty training:


That's one sticker for every pee-pee in the potty. Not bad, especially since it's not counting the times she went at school or away from home. We're thinking of turning it into a motivational print and selling it online.

And today was another milestone: First time going #2 in the potty!

Today Anabelle, Will, and Jack went to see The Nutcracker display at Dayton's Marshall Field's Macy's 8th-floor auditorium:
