Video Week: Going to the Zoo

Today's video is of Anabelle at the Minnesota Zoo with Nonnie and Papa. We went there for the farm babies exhibit, and Anabelle had a lot of fun looking at all the baby animals. She even got to pet some goats, although some goats got too close for her comfort! Luckily Nonnie was there to protect Anabelle.

Video Week: School Spring Show

A quick note about the videos I'm posting this week: They're hosted on YouTube, so you probably won't be able to view them at work since most workplaces block that site or any content from it. Anabelle's Hair Salon

Anabelle's salon is full-service, with a nice blow-dry after the cut.


Of course, Anabelle is an artiste, so she can get a little temperamental if you take a phone call right in the middle of your appointment. Put your cell on vibrate!


And she's not just the hairstylist -- she's also a customer!

Anabelle's Day at the Zoo

It was a gorgeous day today so we took Anabelle to the Como Zoo to see all the animals. Boy, did she have fun.


One of her favorite animals ended up being the ostrich. She kept yelling at him to run. "Run, ostrich! Run!"


She also liked the tigers, but she'd back away from the glass if they got too close.


"What do you mean there's a tiger behind me? They're on the other side of this glass, aren't they?"


After we left the zoo, Anabelle decided she wanted to run! (If the ostrich wouldn't do it, she would.)


After all that activity, Anabelle crashed, sleeping for over three hours. Even more than the little running she did, I think the sheer excitement of seeing all her favorite animals wore her out. Giraffes! Zebras! Lions! Seals! Penguins! Polar bears! Monkeys! ALL IN ONE PLACE!! IT'S THE MOST AMAZING PLACE ON EARTH!!!!
